CINDY BURTT

Executive director/ PATH esmhl and EAGALA certified.

Cindy has 37 years of horse experience, including western pleasure, barrel racing, competitive trail riding, combined training, and hunter/jumper. She has worked as a professional groom, trainer, instructor, and stable manager. She is certified as an Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning (ESMHL) through the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.) and EAGALA.

It is her joy to bring humans together with horses and to observe how a therapeutic moment can change someone’s life.   Her goal is always to respect the horse equally as a sentient being during these experiences rather than a tool.  She loves continuing to learn and be inspired by these magnificent creatures.

BOB SUMMERS

director of operations/ combat veteran

Bob is retired from the Army and the Defense Department as a Quality Assurance Director for the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) at Ft. Monroe, Virginia. He is a Combat Veteran of the Vietnam War with the 5th Special Forces Group.

Bob is an award winning Training and Development Specialist supervising the first ever Chaplain School at Ft Jackson, S.C. and Ft. Bliss, Texas Air Defense School successful TRADOC Accreditation Requirements. He was responsible for designing, developing, validating training effectiveness and relevancy, making recommendations for curriculum and training strategies according to the Army Systems Approach to Training. Bob set milestones and priorities for related training concepts, goals, objectives, policies, procedures and automation.

Bob received the St. Barbara award from the Air Defense Command, which is the highest award recognized for a civilian at the highest level of excellence for training and development for military operations during the Afghanistan and Iraq conflicts.

 
 

ANDY BURTT

CFO/ RANCH MANAGER

Andy is a proud Air Force veteran of the Global war on terror. He was awarded the Air Force Commendation medal during his service.

Andy has ten years of equine experience manages the day to care of the horses. He has a deep connection to horses that he inherited through his grandfather who was an equine expert.

Andy is responsible for the financial and maintenance needs for Unbridled Joy INC.
